Frame Tents

Frame tents consist of a tent top that is supported internally by a free-standing frame, usually made of aluminum. The frame eliminates the need for interior support poles providing an unobstructed event space. Frame tents allow for installation in a variety of locations such as decks, patios, and roofs. Although frame tents do not require stakes and guy lines to keep the tent up like pole tents, they still need appropriate anchoring to safely install them and prevent them from blowing away in the wind. Frame tents come in varying widths ranging from 10’ to 60’ and can be virtually any length.

Q. What are the sizes of your Frame tents?

Our tents come in many different sizes, and we have a large inventory that ranges from as small as 10’ wide tents to over 100’ wide structures. The size of the tent you will need will very greatly on what you want to place under it.

Q. How do I know what size of Frame tent I’ll need?
It is difficult to give hard and fast rules as so much depends on the type of event, the layout planned, and the site space available (which can help determine the width of tent supplied) which would lead us to suggest using either of the free sites listed below to design the layout you are looking for, which will help you determining the size of tent you require. You can also use our chart found here to help you with determining a base size, and a place to start when designing your floor plan.

Q. How long does it take to build a Frame tent?
Again there are a ton of factors that go into building a frame tent, and the length of time varies depending on the size of tent you have selected. If everything goes well, and to plan, depending on the safety environment and how easy access is to the site our crew can set up the standard 40x60 tent in 4-5 hours. Larger tents will take longer, smaller tents will take less time.

Q.What is the highest point / peak of the tent?

The highest point inside the tent is called the ‘Ridge’ and this height will depend on the leg height and the width of the tent…if a specific tent height is needed inside the structure contact us and someone would be happy to help you.

Q. How tall are the legs?
Our standard tents have 8' - 10’  leg heights.

Q. Are your tents rated for wind loads and snow loads?

Yes, our tents are able to be set up year round, and are engineered to support strong winds and snow.

Q. Will a forklift fit underneath it?

Yes, many of our tents are used for temporary warehousing or construction and allow the use of forklifts and other equipment inside the structure.

Q. What else can you provide besides the tent?

We offer liners, drapes, lights, and heaters. If you require other party rentals such as tables, chairs, linens, etc we have a list of companies we work closely with depending on the location of your event who we can refer you to.
